Transfusion Medicine Service 
Accreditation

DHMC Transfusion Medicine Service operates in
compliance with the Regulations of the Food and Drug Administration
under the provisions of 21 CFR, Parts 600-680 with Registration number
1270814. Accreditation by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of
Health Organizations (JCAHO), American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and
College of American Pathologists (CAP) is also held. Regulation under
42 CFR, Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments
as administered by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
also applies. It is our goal to provide timely, accurate, and responsive
services while meeting the regulations and standards of the above
agencies.
