The Department of Pathology actively supports the mission of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and its commitment to the highest ethical standards in the delivery of quality health services. Effective delivery of Anatomical and Clinical Pathology services requires adherence to high standards of medical laboratory practice and business ethics in compliance with the laws of the United States, New Hampshire and other states in which we operate. The Department of Pathology is committed to uphold exceptional standards concerning the integrity of test requisitioning, procedure performance, result reporting and proper claim submission. The aims of these standards are to provide the highest standards of medical practice as well as identify, prevent and eliminate any practices that may result in fraud or abuse. |
