Specimen Transportation Specimen Delivery

Deliver specimens to the Laboratory promptly within ONE HOUR
Pneumatic Tube System:
Not all specimens are authorized to be transported in the Pneumatic Tube System.
Please refer to the "Authorized/Unauthorized Lab Specimen" table in the Pneumatic Tube Manual.
Specimens that are unauthorized cannot be tubed due to specimen integrity reasons. Unauthorized specimens
tubed to the lab will have to be recollected and hand carried to the lab.
Please refer to the "Lab Section" of the Pneumatic Tube Manual for the proper packaging and sending
procedures.
Hand Delivery:
Specimens may be brought to the main lab in Building 8, Level 4.
